What are your minimum order quantities?

The minimum order quantity is 200 labels with no size restriction. Do keep in mind that the more you order, the better your price per label.

What is the turnaround time?

Our standard processing time typically starts within 24-48hrs of artwork approval , but this can vary depending on the specific details of your order. Any additional features you request may extend the processing time.

Is rush order placement available?

Absolutely! We offer a rush processing option that saves around 10-12 hours of off your processing time, often resulting in same-day turnaround for most orders. The pricing for this accelerated processing depends on factors such as shipping costs and production demands. Feel free to inquire for specific details!

Are there any setup or plate fees?

None whatsoever. Being a fully digital printer, we eliminate the need for plates and extensive setup time to print your labels. Therefore, there are no fees of that nature required.

Why is my order late?

Due to high order demand and potential supply chain delays, there might be impacts on the timeline for your order.

Our standard processing times typically start at a minimum of 24-48 hours , but this can vary based on your order specifications. However, if you're seeking a faster turnaround, our rush processing option can often cut the standard processing time in half!

Label Specifications

What label size should I opt for?

Here's a straightforward guide to finding the ideal label size for your product:

  • Wrap a piece of graph or printer paper around your product.
  • Mark where you'd like the label to sit.
  • Trim the paper to the desired size and wrap it around your product once more.
  • Repeat this process until you've achieved the perfect shape and fit for your prototype.
  • Measure the width and length of your mockup label in inches.

And that's it!

What are your label size limitations?

Our printing capabilities range from a maximum size of 13″ x 19″ down to a minimum recommended size of 0.5″ x 0.5″. For extremely small sizes like these, we recommend opting for solid color labels or stickers for optimal results.

Can multiple label designs be combined into a single order?

Absolutely! You can certainly combine multiple designs into a single order as long as the label size, material, and laminate are consistent across all designs.

Consolidating your label designs into a single order not only streamlines the process but also offers significant savings. Our pricing structure is based on the total quantity ordered, so ordering in larger volumes means better pricing per label.

What is an Electronic Proof?

An Electronic Proof or PDF proof isn't merely a digital duplicate of your label. Our dedicated prepress team meticulously prepares your files for printing, ensuring all fonts, images, and label formats align perfectly within your selected die. It's a final opportunity to review your label before it goes to print.

Typically, you can expect to receive your Electronic Proof within approximately 24 business hours after placing your order.

Are your labels produced on rolls or sheets?

By default, all labels are produced on rolls. Although we don't offer individually cut labels, you can specify the quantity per roll on your orders, facilitating distribution according to your needs.

Can you print gold or silver ink?

Absolutely, yes!

To achieve a metallic effect, we utilize metallic base materials such as Metallic Plastic and Holographic Plastic. Printing on these materials with translucent inks ensures that any colour printed directly onto them retains a stunning metallic effect. For instance, printing yellow ink on these materials results in a vibrant metallic gold finish!

This approach not only offers cost-effectiveness but also unleashes endless creativity in label designs. You're not limited to just silver and gold; you can explore metallic blue, green, pink, and every shade in between. Reach out to our Customer Care Team to request samples of our metallic materials and experience their brilliance firsthand!

What's the difference between product labels and stickers?

Many individuals use the terms interchangeably, but we see a subtle distinction between labels and stickers. While they share similarities—they're often crafted from the same materials and adhere to surfaces—our simplified view distinguishes them as follows: "Labels SELL something while stickers SAY something." Labels typically serve a product-related purpose, whereas stickers commonly convey messages like "Thumb Up" or "Vote for BJP."

Additionally, there's another factor to consider: labels for products are typically produced on rolls for machine application to containers, while stickers often come in sheet form. If you require sheet stickers, we regret to inform you that we don't offer them. However, if rolled stickers suit your needs, feel free to reach out—we may be able to fulfill your requirements.

When will I get my artwork proof?

You can expect to receive a digital proof within 1-2 business days of placing your order with Standard Processing.

Keep in mind that certain factors can potentially delay the proofing process. These include having multiple designs (as we need time to prepare all those files!), large orders, or changes made to your artwork files.

Do my label and design files have to match in size?

Absolutely! We strongly advise submitting artwork sized to match the exact dimensions of your finished label, along with the required bleed (0.0625″ on all sides).

For instance, if you're designing a 2″ x 4″ rectangle label, your artwork should be set up with artboard or canvas dimensions of 2.125″ x 4.125″ to accommodate the necessary bleed.

In the event that you submit artwork that isn't appropriately sized, we'll make adjustments to your file(s) if possible. Otherwise, we'll provide a template for you to modify the artwork accordingly.

Should I add a certain amount of bleed to my label designs?

Indeed! Bleed refers to the background color, pattern, or design that extends 0.0625″ on each side of your label (or 0.125” on the width and length). This extra bleed ensures that your entire background is printed and doesn't risk being cut off during the converting process, where labels are precisely cut out from the printed material.

For instance, if you're designing artwork for a 2.00″ x 4.00″ label, it should be sized at 2.125″ x 4.125″ to accommodate bleed effectively.

What makes a safe zone different from a bleed zone?

The safe zone represents the area of your label where all text and design elements remain protected from being trimmed during production. All text and design elements should be kept within a space 0.125” smaller than your final label size.

On the other hand, bleed refers to the background color, pattern, or design that extends 0.0625″ on each side of your label (or 0.125” on the width and length). This additional bleed ensures that your entire background is printed without risking any parts being cut off during the converting process, where labels are precisely cut out from the printed material.

What is the recommended artwork resolution?

We highly recommend that your artwork maintain a minimum resolution of 300dpi to ensure clear printing quality for your labels. For optimal results, a resolution of 800dpi is recommended.

Understanding why to use CMYK instead of RGB color mode?

For designing your product labels, your graphic designer should use CMYK color mode.

Our digital presses operate in Four Color Process mode, known as CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black). These colors are mixed in various combinations to provide a wide range of color options. Designing in RGB mode, commonly used for computer monitors, can lead to significant color distortion when printed. Therefore, it's crucial for your designer to create artwork files in CMYK mode to ensure accurate colors on your labels.

Bonus tip: Never assume that colors displayed on a computer monitor will match the printed result. Test-print the design on your desktop printer as a reference, but remember that each printer may produce slightly different results. This precaution helps illustrate the disparity between RGB monitors and CMYK printers and ensures more accurate color representation in print.
